HAZARDOUS WASTE

The Special Wastes programs of the East Central Indiana Solid Waste District are intended only for the residents of Madison, Delaware, and Grant Counties.  Participants may be required to show identification confirming they are a resident before being permitted to drop-off special waste.

Products, such as oil based paints, cleaners, oils, pesticides, fertilizers, and pool chemicals can contain hazardous ingredients and may require special care when you dispose of them.

FREON

Products, such as, televisions, computer monitors, computers, e-readers, FAX machines, computer peripherals, DVD players, IPODS/MP3 players, camcorders/cameras, DVR/TiVo devices, and portable GPS devices generated by Indiana  households, public schools and small businesses that are prohibited from being disposed of in lanfills.

Products, such as, refridgerators, freezers, and window air conditioners.

Tires of all shapes and sizes.

TIRES

Radioactive materials, medications of any kind, sharps of any kind, items/materials not generated by a household in Madison, Delaware, or Grant County.
